OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of the Missions & Outreach Ministry at Saints Cathedral Church of God in Christ is to train, equip, and provide opportunities for ordinary people to go and do extraordinary things in the name of Jesus so that all might see, hear and experience God’s love in tangible ways. Our ministry desires to identify needs locally and in the foreign field to assist and support by coordinating efforts to serve the needs of mankind wherever and however possible.
Saints Cathedral Church of God in Christ, in partnership with the South Louisiana Food Bank and various regional stores, provide groceries to over 600+ individuals in Southwest Louisiana, which includes Lake Charles, Iowa, and Moss Bluff areas. Every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the Month, we distribute resources from our food pantry to registered participants. Our ministry has blossomed into the second largest food pantry in the City of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
